Video surveillance via radio link

In this presentation we have developed the surveillance of a residential area in Valencia in which the cameras installed in the zone generate a certain throughput. The information must travel to Sueca, in which the security centre is settled. As to that, we have studied several possibilities with LINK Planner software. Finally we have decided between the different propagation paths and arrived to the final conclusion. A signal repeater is placed at the mountain in Torrent avoiding the main propagation problem which is the Albufera. The Albufera is a lake that causes the signal to be attenuated so it is necessary to avoid it in order to have the best possible radio signal. Hope you enjoy it.

DRIVETEST

This is Mobile Communications Project in which we have studied the signal power received and handovers performed by a mobile terminal in a given route in Valencia. We have studied the differences between 2G, 3G and 4G and their operation frecuencies. We have learnt the location of base stations and how they work.
